Racetrim Launch
After a lot of work it feels great to have the first version of this app out and running. It is a very minimal set of features to begin with, but I'm hoping to learn more from ACC players about what they need. My expectations for this launch release are that its not enough to appeal to most players. Words can't express how much I value those of you that are willing to experiment with Racetrim in this early phase. I appreciate your feedback and willingness to help me learn. This is just the beginning of the journey! I'll keep building.
Launch features
Manage various ACC server settings.
Create, edit, and save ACC server settings
General settings roughly corresponding to the ACC settings.json.
Event and assist rules can also be configured for private servers when they are password protected.
Launch ACC servers
As part of this release, the available regions are US West (Oregon) and EU West (London). More coming soon.
Quick server edits and restarts
When you edit settings you can apply them to a running server via a remote restart. This isn't a full virtual machine restart, it's a remote restart of the accServer.exe program. This makes it very fast to change server settings and restart servers.
That's about all there is for now. It's a small start, but I'm happy to be on starting grid! See you in-app and on-track.
